Thanks, it's appreciated! It's just such a horrible process to get caught out in first time travelling... I know it's how it has to be done, and not to book etc, but for the inexperienced traveller, you just don't think it would take that duration!

I have 18 days til I fly, I left my passport with the embassy so I'm still thinking I may just make it!

my husband is on 24 weeks and 5 days today and still no news, and its labor day today so im sure we can rule out an email this afternoon. i have been looking at this site on a regular basis looking at the wait times and its just a matter of keeping your fingers crossed !!

Hi ya everyone back from my amazing florida holiday. We flew out on the friday, hubby flew out on the saturday, so only missed a day. Immigration, for him was a breeze. Went into a room, took away his passport, waited 20 mins and was sent on his way no questions asked :) visa 1 year multiple. Thanks for everyone for the advice and questions answered.

That's good to hear Charlie I had followed your threads at least it all worked out for you :thumbsup: I'm into week 18 so hopefully not too much longer for us all still waiting....just wondering if your gonna put yourselves thro it all again next year lol.

There's a few of us all around the same date.

Nige1512 .......I've already put the dates in my diary of when I need to make my next embassy app. Once we have got that visa in our passports the 2,3,4,5 time will seem easy :)

Hi serenawell,
Yer I noticed your into week 20 you must have had your interview around middle of April at a guess and if going by the Belfast consulate list you should hear something in 2 weeks so fingers crossed for you : ) .....think we will all be hanging around this site at this time of year for the next few years then till they say ok we forgive you lol.

Oh BUGGER !!! I'm getting my weeks muddled up :( My interview was May 16th so I'm actually on week 16 :cry_smile:

Oh well just the 10+ weeks still to go then ......:thumbsup:

quick update, husbands email arrived this morning, 25 weeks to the day, march 12 interview in london. good luck to everyone still waiting

It's gonna be a fine line by the looks of it, just out of interest was his a 2nd waiver or an initial application?

Its his first application and our holiday balance needed paying for 2 weeks ago but the travel company let us extend until the flights needed to be paid for which was Sept 10th. We thought we had plenty of time but it just goes to show you. Couldn't rearrange either as we are flying out for the breeders cup. I will let you know when the visa is issued, when it comes back, and how long its for.I hope you get yours in time

just received email 3 sept 2014 week 25 from 7 march interview to send in paperwork for issue of visa , do anybody know how long before i have the visa in y hand , i have paid for courier dly
