You've still got another 19 days before you travel. Still plenty of time to get the visa sorted.

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the status on anyone's application on CEAC changes to AP just before the email requesting passport to be sent? Mine still says refused I'm into week 23 now would I expect that to change anytime soon? Many thanks.

Mine still says "refused" and I sent my passport off on Saturday.

Hi you need to contact the embassy I did and this was the reply:

Dear Mr. Lee,

Embassy records that you were contacted by Embassy staff on August 15 requesting that you submit your passport to the Embassy for visa issuance.

This email never got to me, not in spam, junk or any other way so get in touch through the contact form on the site..

Did you look back at your DS-160 and check that you hadn't made a typo mistake when supplying your email address originally?

Hi Nigel, as I said in a previous post I didn't receive an email and only found out they had requested my passport when I contacted the embassy at the end of September. The email was apparently sent out on August 15th

Just weighing up options... If my email is not here by Friday 24th (26 weeks), I will be moving flight back a week, if not here by the original flight date 29th, I will not be going.

Can't beat a bit of drama.....

Thanks KTG, I always knew it was gonna be close, but as the days pass it is getting more tense.

But what will be will be, it is only a holiday, at least if I don't travel I will have some quality time to get all the outstanding DIY jobs done
