I've been following these forums for a long time... and there's simply no rhyme or reason to what goes through an interviewer's head.

Also, does asking for the passport definitely mean I have the visa (assuming the email is not an error)?
Usually, yes.

Thanks again for the response. Fingers are crossed. I'll post the outcome to put some more data into the pool - the hardest thing seems to be finding any information.

Just an update for everyone waiting! Interview Sept 5th 2014. Email today at 16:37 3rd Feb 2015. Pretty much 5 months.

Now a question for everyone!

Last few times I had to ring a company called DX secure and they came and collected and returned passport.

Now it seems I have to arrange my own courier and have it taken back to some chemist 25 miles away???? Any ideas?

Are you actually looking for information or are you just commenting for no reason at all?

The waiting time hasn't changed... it's still averaging about 6 months.

Sounds like you had it relatively easy, which is always a bonus. Well done.

No, I don't mind at all.

You should learn how to ask a good question. In your previous post, you asked if anyone knew the answer. I did... and responded appropriately. In this post, you want to know if I would mind sharing the answer. I don't... and responded appropriately. You, however, haven't actually asked the question.

I encourage you to ask the question. I'll help you get started:

What is... ?
