Bits or not, here in Alabama it is called jelly, usually in a sandwich with peanut butter

Yeah, it'll all get called jelly but apparently if it has bits in, it's jam.

I'm not bothered what it's called, as long as it is in my sandwich or on my toast and nobody cross-contaminates the jam jar with butter/peanut butter/toast crumbs

Jelly can come in a pouch or a jar, jam I think always comes in a jar and has chunks.

I find chocolate bits in my peanut butter.

I do find Smuckers not very good, I tend to buy other brands. As for peanut butter I hate mixing it, but I tend to buy the natural kind with no added sugar.

I haven't really noticed much difference in jams/jellies/whatever you want to call them.

Peanut butter is Jif or GTFO.

The homeless here have tried that, people still complained about them.

And of course people are also complaining about a low income housing project being planned, they claim it's too close to neighborhoods and schools, thing is it's low income family housing, as in people with kids as well, not homeless housing, although it will be next to the homeless shelter.
