That's my whole point, that's why I put the quote marks around the word. It's not like you're going to do anything else with that part of your body. At some point that day you will be bathing/showering/washing. Why does it matter that some germs may attach themselves to you at the back of your legs that will never touch food etc? It's just a bit precious. imo.

I'm more concerned about percy, I have to deal with anything touching the porcelain but it doesn't matter how deep or cold the water is, I'm just happy to be blessed.

I presume you have never had a boil*, one that caused blood poisoning, and hospitalization for surgery and intravenous antibiotics? Eight years ago I would have agree with you, but now I am not so cavalier.

* It wasn't on the bum.

Are you kidding me? There is no way I want to sit with my bare bum on a seat where someone else has had their bare bum. I have no idea how clean they are or what bugs/germs/infections they may be carrying. If that makes me precious...then yeah I am precious.

"Verruca" is just a British euphemism for a wart (a plantar wart), and so yes, that is a real thing, and quite common.

Completely anecdotal, so take from it what you will, but I have never once used the paper ring things when I'm dropping a deuce in a public bog and I've never had any arse related issues whatsoever.

My peeve is about the lack of capacity on a single use as for me bigger is necessary when I have a cold. The US ones just cannot contain the produced volume.
