I don't want to be dealing with knees in my back. I'm usually more comfortable sitting up anyway, I can't really stretch out my legs anyway, there seems little point in reclining my back.

Leg room is fine for me (I'm a short git). Upright is too "upright" for me. I like it about 1/2 way .. Not full recline but that extra couple of inches makes all the difference.
