Kinda answers the age old question when attending a wedding of 'Chicken or fish'. Both. You can have both (with a side garnish of tobacco).

People who can't keep their ****ing personal problems at home. Just constant mother****ing hen clucking all day long. All ****ing day.

I hope the owner (who left his car parked out front to go to a jobsite with another manager) comes back in through the back door so they're still going when he gets back. I'd enjoy that show

Having to pay $50 to reserve a seat on an international flight. i thought I had got a good deal until they want $50 per person to reserve a seat on each leg. $70 if you want to reserve bulkhead or exit row. I just hope I don't need coins for the toilet.

You realise that seats further back are free, right? .... The view of the seats defaultes to the front of the cabin, but if you scroll down, towards the tail, there is no fee for booking the seats further back.

they charge for all seats now the ones at the back just cost less. this is just a cost for pre assigning a seat.

If you want to select specific seats before then, you can pay to do so from 336 days before your flight. Prices start from £30/$45.

The fee doesn’t apply if you’re:
An Upper Class customer
A Premium Economy customer
An Economy Y or B class customer
A Flying Club Gold member
A Delta® SkyMiles® Diamond, Platinum or Gold Medallion® member

http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/us/en...ssignment.html

However I am guaranteed not to sit next to a "wide" person.

If we can't seat all your family together, we'll make sure each child, under 12 years old is seated with an adult from your group.

I don't know if it strictly counts as 'international' but I had to pay for my seats on Air Canada last month, one of which was right at the back. It was worth it though, since two flights were 100% full, so I was glad I chose the seats I wanted in advance.

BA charge 50 bucks for booking seats. All the way to the back of the plane.*

*At least, they did in April.

Was that on each leg or the whole flight?

Are you a member of their frequent flyer club? I fly Virgin 3-4 times a year and the last time they tried to charge extra for something (think it was luggage), I phoned and moaned and they waived the fee.

BA tickets have been too expensive for us ever since they pulled out of the Charlotte market. The last tickets I bought, on American, were two-thirds of the price that BA wanted. I now know that the difference is even greater as American allowed me to book seats for free.

This is my first Virgin flight in 16 years. My last flight wasn't a good experience. I am limited to which seats my kids can sit in so at the end of the day they may move someone out of a pre booked seat.

It's messed up because on the reservation they don't know that my infant is an infant, because their system has her as an adult. They just assume people will have a kid on their laps for 9 hours and not buy a seat. I also can fill in passport/passenger details until I get to the airport, because her date of birth indicates she is not an adult yet.

The Delta portion of the flight doesn't charge either unless you want extra leg room. They is no charge for reserving a seat. So it looks like it may just be UK/European airlines that charge.
