Baby birds need to be fed cat food (ironic) and threaten the cats with no biscuits.
Moisturiser- good to go, try coconut oil it's cheaper

I was making a joke re Kelvin/Kermit. Oh, well, I thought it was amusing.

Coconut oil, surely, is very greasy? My face would probably be covered with bugs by the time I return home.

It looks to me like you reached a rational conclusion.

Where did I say Celsius wasn't metric?

I said 'everything is in metric except the temperature'.

Yes, that's him. Not only do we share a birthday, we also share a birthplace. Pretty cool, for someone who sort of likes Chemstry a bit. I used to walk past a statue of him every morning on the way into University.

I gave up smoking a while ago ...

I don't put much stock in those newspaper columns named after the constellations aligned along the plane of the orbit of the Earth around the Sun though.

That's the one I misread. I don't know what the hell I was doing.

That being said, now I'm not sure what the 'everything in metric' was you were referring to. But I'm probably overthinking it again.

Granted I should have said...most things or usually. I was going to say measurements...but of course there are miles etc.

You contrasted "everything in metric" with "temperature".

I am not sure where you're talking about because in Canada they use the metric system including Celcius, and the US doesn't use the metric system, and consistent with that, the US uses (non-metric) Farenheit.

There are (or were) a few stretches of US highway along the Canadian border that are/were signed in kilometers though, I believe. Which is completely irrelevant, but that's what I'm here for.

This is my last reply to you...because as usual you are being awkward.

Last time I looked this was the U.S. forum...not the Canada forum. If I was referring to Canada I would have said so.

But everything in the US isn't in metric. So why did you say "everything is in metric"? Given that you live in Canada, it led me to the logical conclusion that you must be talking about Canada.

That sounds like such an Americanism.

Yes - the wife (American) and I watched it on Netflix at the recommendation of my sister. Great show.

It might be, I drop a few in here and there. I'm trying to think what would me more British. Signposted, maybe? Anyway, as adopted terminology goes, that one's minor. At least I never say 'train station'
