No, they are actual apples. I like apples, they're like food and a drink all in one and they're fruit, so I can eat as many as I like and they don't count because they're 'good for me'.

I couldn't trust myself with a whole chocolate orange in my lunch. I'd eat the whole lot, feel sick and throw the sandwich and the apples away. But that was the old me.

That never was a concern of mine

I didn't think I had any either until my wife found a bag of them she'd bought at Walmart at Christmas (which is the only time we seem to be able to find them here).

Not sure if this is a pet peeve or just a Phoenix problem.

That point when you realize your thermometer goes to 111F (because that's one hotter) and that your night time lows are higher than most places day time highs.

Still, at least it's a dry heat. At least that what Arizonan residents tell us down here when on vacation. Not sure it makes much of a difference, it's damn hot.

Hot is hot. Humidity can make even a reasonable temperature like 76F seem unbearable though.

It was about 63F on Friday for our game, and even then the rain earlier in the day seeded the air with enough moisture to make even that uncomfortable.

Went for a walk in Phoenix with the missus this morning. Commented at how the heat wasn't too bad. Then realised it was already 30c.

Reminds me when my father in law questioned the choice of a dark colored car. I told him it makes no difference, above a certain point it's hot whether the car is white or not.

Don't lecture me about humidity. Practically swam out of my front door this morning.

Oh aye, preaching to the choir etc. Still, a football game in 63 degree weather should have been a pleasant experience, not the sticky sweat-fest it became. Then again, we had no subs and I was playing right back against the team with probably the strongest, or at least the most competitive (for a non competitive league) attack out of all of us.

You can't expect people to live on 15% of your money.

Yeah great, way to ruin a perfectly good discussion about the weather!
