I always quite liked blue LEDs. I always found them more pleasing than the green or red ones. Well, the one on the PS2 anyway, I struggle to think of another device I ever owned with a blue LED on it now ...

I just had to buy a new one as my old one crapped out on me (and wouldn't play Gran Turismo 4 would you believe ...). It is a slim. Plays all more recent games but no longer has the blue led :(

I sold my UK one before leaving. My first US one was a refurb I was bought as a birthday present after arriving. I knew it had a limited shelf life. It would still play games, but would need to be restarted a lot of times to read the disc.

Plus, before moving I had already shifted to the PC for my GTA games, so I had a head start anyway :D

This is the UK one going back again.

My husband bought me a US PS1. That was good too but obviously couldn't play the PS2 classics. The golden age of gaming.

(Though, arguably the 8-bit and 16-bit eras were golden ages in their own rights. Anyone who has owned a CPC, C64 or an Amiga will agree ...)

My mate had an ST, I had an Amiga. I was able to experience the best of both worlds. Sensible Soccer was better on the Amiga, but I think F1GP was better on the ST.

I have one at home. I should play it really. It's all set up, so no excuse.

I rely on emulators these days. Not quite the same without my Zipstick though.

Blinky lights on anything drive me nuts. Even little red standby lights make me enraged

They just don't think about the needs of others, right?

I think I sadly missed this one ...

Stop talking...I can't get any work done...!

(Actually quite serene here with the sparrows, woodpecker, humming birds and blackbirds all hanging out in the trees outside my sliding door.)
