I sold my UK one before leaving. My first US one was a refurb I was bought as a birthday present after arriving. I knew it had a limited shelf life. It would still play games, but would need to be restarted a lot of times to read the disc.
Plus, before moving I had already shifted to the PC for my GTA games, so I had a head start anyway :D My husband bought me a US PS1. That was good too but obviously couldn't play the PS2 classics. The golden age of gaming. |

My mate had an ST, I had an Amiga. I was able to experience the best of both worlds. Sensible Soccer was better on the Amiga, but I think F1GP was better on the ST.
