Re: Pet Peeves?

Reading the carry on discussion reminded me, when did it become normal for people to bring travel cases into the office every single day? What could anyone possibly need that amount of stuff for at work? I genuinely do not understand what they're bringing to and from home that requires almost a full-size suitcase . If I didn't have to squeeze into a lift with these people I probably wouldn't mind, but the size of some of these cases is ludicrous.

How much lunch could one possibly eat?

I did think of deferring to you on the lunch question.

Your reputation precedes you.

I think it's a security thing. I once worked with someone who carried one of those leather paper pad portfollio things and it was filled with more paperwork than is in my entire office. They took it to every single blessed meeting, and I never saw them look at it once!

Now, a carry case full of chocolate oranges, that would make sense.

I don't think they come in smaller servings. (And, if they did, what would it be for)?

That covers all the bases.

Mine was a trio of Peppermint Patties, but I accidently ate them already.

They'd be for knowing who's unable to handle a full chocolate orange and therefore who is unworthy of your time ...

I have a couple of apples as well, because those are about as nice tasting as 'healthy' food gets

If I'm being honest, I might in reality have eaten my chocolate orange within a few minutes of arriving into work this morning. The intention was to have it with lunch though.

Is this a way of saying you have a pie?

I couldn't trust myself with a whole chocolate orange in my lunch. I'd eat the whole lot, feel sick and throw the sandwich and the apples away. But that was the old me.
