Isn't Celsius considered a metric measurement, with Kelvin being the SI unit for temperature?

OK, forget the Kelvin part :p

I'm still reasonably sure that Celsius is considered 'metric'.

The temp in the U.S. is usually in Fahrenheit.

Right, whereas Celsius is used in Canada and Mexico, who are both on the metric system. And in the UK, with their weird hybrid system I quite like

As for your make-up..... Do you really need it?

How on earth would I rear a baby bird, especially with cats in the house? No, I don't need makeup. I meant moisturizer, which I do need.

Couldn't tell you if there's a muppet by that name. For me, he's the guy who came up with the absolute temperature scale, with whom I share a birthday.

Given that this is the peeves thread, and Maud's points are separated by "." I believe she is peeved by metric measurements and also peeved by Celsius temperatures. I agree with SoS that generally speaking, Celcius is considered to be a metric measurement.

Butter melts at 31 C OR 87F- that explains the puddle in my butter dish yesterday!

Celsius is indeed metric

I think we can all agree that Celsius is a metric measurement. I don't know why that was ever in question.:unsure:

I misunderstood your post, because I am, apparently, a numpty

That being said, now I'm not sure what the 'everything in metric' was you were referring to. But I'm probably overthinking it again.

Perhaps you mean Kermit the frog? Answer Y or N
Baby birds need to be fed cat food (ironic) and threaten the cats with no biscuits.
Moisturiser- good to go, try coconut oil it's cheaper
