When Saturday comes...

I think Liam Gallagher, that bloke from Oasis, didn't enjoy the night. He was chucked out of the stadium after City's first goal, for kissing a security officer.

The new Premier League season is only a few weeks so I thought I might as well resurrect this thread.
Quite fancy Chelsea this season especially if they get Rooney (Sorry Dick I like him as a player).
I do think, hopefully, it may be the most open season for some time. Really would like a mid table team to make a breakthrough but cannot see it.
Unlikely but ideally United will have a terrible start and Moyes sacked by Xmas.
1) Chelsea
2) Man. City
3) Man. Utd.
4) Arsenal

I think I'll plump for City taking the top spot ahead of Chelsea.

Will he, won't he ?
A Hundred Million euros on the table for Gareth Bale.
Serious money.
A new World record by a quite a margin if it goes through.
Bale seems keen to go, Spurs still keen to hang on to him, unless of course they're trying to push up the fee even further.

some say they do and some say they don't, do RM have €100 mil in hard cash, so a deal with no payments over time or other clauses, just do they have it there to bang it straight in levy's account, for me yes but many say no ??

Is the Pope a Catholic ?
They are the rich mans club, always able to find the necessary from somewhere.
They were subsidised by Franco at one time and later by some Malaga drug barons.
There could be clauses involved, as is often the case these days, but money is no problem.
As for the Scousers, I think they may struggle to make the top 4, but I wouldn't rule out Spurs, with or without Bale.

Wonder who is going to take the free kicks ?
Ronaldo won't want to get his nose shoved out or lose out on his chance of becoming top scorer but Bale being a top gun as well in that dept will expect a piece of the action as well.

No point keeping an unhappy player and at the end of the day big bucks talk more than any words.
