Look, you have a thread all about the bad bits of the Olympics. Some of us love sport, want to talk about the sport, want to enjoy the fact that despite being a little cold rock in the middle of the Atlantic we actually have some sporting prowess that extends to beyond football so why, if you hate sport so, do you want to even be on this thread? No, I'm not chasing you off the thread but some of us actually like sport and judging by the messages I am getting people are getting bored with the negativity.

Yes ... Ive never seen it before and therefore was somewhat perplexed when it happened earlier. I though that it was an unwelcome interloper at first

It's big in Japan seemingly, it's the David Hasselhoff of Olympic sports.

He's off again, and he's a miserable git. Just needs a ring of onions around his neck really and that would complete the picture

Cycling is one sport where all the investment from National Lottery funds, both in facilities and support for individual athletes, is really paying dividends in terms of the results being achieved.

Dave Brailsford for Prime Minister!

It would be better if they all had engines and raced him. I guess that's why they invented the Isle of Man TT though.
