No, I'm not chasing you off the thread but some of us actually like sport and judging by the messages I am getting people are getting bored with the negativity.
If I hate sport so??? I love sport, watching and participating....There is nothing more uplifting than seeing the winners in all categories achieving the triumphant pinnacle in their various fields in a global event, whatever the nation. What I despair of is the controversial manipulation of rules and regulations in the process....Boxing, cycling, fencing, gymnastics, badminton...

If these anomalies are allowed to occur without discussion and investigation so rules and regs can be altered to improve events and competitions and the reputations of organizers and participants for the future....Something is wrong!

Some great medal wins today!

It was investigated and the officials decided that nothing was at fault. Want to keep dissecting it?

If it's allowed in the rules then there is no reason why you should not take advantage of it.

If you don't accept that then just watch the sailing finals on Sunday.
