Sorry for those who have suffered in the bad weather this week. Here are a few more pictures to remind everyone how beautiful Ayamonte and Costa Esuri are when the sunshines

I hope people realise that the books are there to be exchanged, not just borrowed, or the library will be short-lived ! Glad to see that Derek and Margaret have the right idea.

Here are a few more pictures. The first two show CE in the background, when TonyP and I played Quinta do Vale. Of course the second also demonstrates Tony's classical stance and swing

Although I am not a great fan of seafood, the last shows a display that had my mouth watering, as we strolled through Ayamonte.

On "another forum" Jur has posted some photos of La Sonrisa virtually underwater after all the rain! I can't believe we were sitting there last week, enjoying a drink and thinking about sitting in the shade as it was so hot!

yes we can, hello.
We have been interested in this situation since we completed; but feel lost in the minority.
Unfortunately for us, we have ended up on a Manzana where a few of us are of the opinion that our president is closely linked to the administration company and therefore, Fadesa.
There are only a few of us willing to band together so we feel stuck for the foreseeable future.
The trouble is that when some of us try to speak to others, too many are not particularly bothered; so long as all looks nice on the surface; most don’t care what sorts of goings on are taking place.

We know of two Manzanas on the first phase townhouses who fought back, from what we are reliably informed, under two hard working and honest presidents.
They booted out ADA / AEA and selected their own, by a majority vote. The new administration company is called Mega Fincas Huelva.
And reports are just like the other posting, the new administration company did more in the first few months than ADA / AEA did in the entire time they were in control.

It is strange to the few of us, that even when people are given the information about the builder/administrator connections, they don’t seem to care.
Is it a case of some people having more money than sense? We think so.
Anyway, in the meantime, a few of us just have to wait for the time when we can gather enough people with sense to be bothered to change things. In the meantime, we will have to keep on paying a lot for very little.

Thanks for the posting, it’s good to know in time we may have some control over our community and where we spend our money.

The president can sack the admin at any time, he just needs to call a meeting for approval, anyone who has not paid their fees (Fadesa) cannot vote.
They are not carrying out their duties because they are not collecting Fadesa`s dues.

Exactely like before, we have ADA for intercommunity. Last extraordinary intercommunity meeting (March) our new Administrator was allowed to attend, she was very helpfull with legal advice specially when ADA tryed to increase our dues because Fadesa fail to pay up.

All well and good if the president is willing to change; but what if the president is not willing to change; even when the administration company is not carrying out their duties.
The elected president is supposed to represent the interests of the community, when this is not the case, the administration company carry on controlling communities without any accountability. And until enough people get together to make a change, it will carry on like this.

Sitting on La Barrosa beach at present in Cadiz, stronbow in hand, taking a few days away from it all. Hence I'm "strangely quiet"!!!

From the March issue, the paper is now dated (ie March 5 instead simply March) and the current issue is dated April 7 (nearedt working day after the 5th) However, distribution didn't start until late on the night of Monday 7th so most people had it by Weds. PDFs always go out later (so the people who get the print version can feel a bit 'special' for a few days!!!!!!!!)

Think the PDF's were being mailed today.

I agreed with you, you need to have your neighbours and your president with you to change things. In our case we are lucky, almost all the owners agreed with our President about changing administration. I wish you luck.
