COSTA ESURI - AYAMONTE

So now we're all friends again, I return to the most important topic. FA Cup final in the bloody club house.
I offer cheap beer and downright dodgy cider and no-one cares. Do I have to up the offer to Lincolnshire poteen?
Back to the cup final, I'm pleased I'm not in London that day, Cardiff and Portsmouth fans drunk together? Now there's a recipie, it will be beautiful. Very similar to when the Bolshoil last visited the Royal Albert Hall.
On a less serious note, how do I get furniture from Ikea in Seville to the house in Esuri? How easy is delivery to organise via IKEA or should I hire a van?
James.
P.S. oh and the mention of the grand slam hasn't gone unnoticed ;-)

They will deliver via their in house delivery service(contractors) it can be quite expensive as they work in areas much like in the UK, it also depends on how much your spending, it cost me about 100 euro to get 4 beds and mattresses and other bits delivered, approx 60kms.
It was fairly easy to arrange and I do not speak Spanish, you have to make your purchase first then go through checkout to the delivery desk, make sure they have all you want in stock though, you don't want to pay for it twice.
The delivery guys were pretty good too, it was like an assault course getting to my place down a track with the drive dug up by torchlight ( don't ask ) but they did it with a smile...just..mind you a tip cheered them up..good luck.

Just back from another fantastic week at CE. Great weather, company, golf, food etc. etc.
Following on from a suggestion from a few weeks back, I have taken some books down to the clubhouse, and left them on the table just inside the lounge door. Anyone is welcome to help themselves to these paperbacks, and hopefully we can get a few more people to leave their old reading material, for others to borrow and return. There are about a dozen titles, including thrillers, biographies, historical novels, etc.
I mentioned to the girls behind the bar that they should let anyone interested know that they can help themselves for free.
I have some more pictures to post in the next day or so, when I have sorted them out.

The one on the left looks like the type of villa you get on the up-market developments in Portugal. Is this straight from a builder - as compared to a self-build?

Fort! A council estate with an 18 hole championship golf course, and a another fantastic 18 hole course with river views to Portugal...don't be daft. Its one of the best locations on the Algarve - either side. I know what a council estate looks like having been proudly brought up on one of the tougher ones! There's having a laugh at other peoples expense and theres being plain annoying/boring. From one taff to another - chill out butty!

The builder is Portuguese and the developer or should I say Promoter is English. There are 2 villas side by side with Ray having bought what I think was the better of the two. He(Promoter) has a lot more plots that he is going to build on in CE and like many on this site, sees the long-term potential of CE and where it can go. He has another three at the bottom of the street which are looking nice. I was standing on the first floor only last weekend and the views of the bridge were great.
