I managed to get a sturdy adjustable oven shelf from the Kleenezee catalogue here in UK. They were actually on special offer so got 2 and will bring them out with us next time.

I've got one of those too and so far it's been great. I don't think I could put a heavy casserole-type pot on it though - it would be too heavy. I think mine was from betterware.

Yes you do! You must also pay imputed rental tax as well. Quite possibly there will be an additional tax called Basura for rubbish collection but that is all if parliament approves the suspension of Wealth Tax and the Regions agree

yes - lots of places ... from the garden centre, carrefour, supersol, the place by the marina in Ayamonte (can't remember it's name) and I'm sure others will add to the list.

You can look in Absolute or Outdoor Living but they tend be Brochure based. When I was over looking in March I found Carrefour had a large selection and the prices were better but you have to sort the transport out. Although they may well deliver.

I spent a week driving round looking at all the different palaces to buy, without a doubt Carrefour is the cheapest and they do have a good selection readily available. If its a barbequ your after Leroy Merlins is the place (Junc 99), they also do garden furniture, but it is limited. Frontera also do a good selection and they deliver. Hope this helps

Congratualtions to Jag, occasional poster here and now proud owner of a Cafe Bar in Ayamonte that has a good selection of Indian food alongside the usual tapas.

Three of us went and we had Chicken Tikka, Lamb Bhuna and Chicken Korma.

The Bhuna was fantastic - tasty, good blend of spices and just the right level of hotness, just enough so you can still appreciate the flavours.

Excellent meal, good value and so much better than that shocking, car crash of a place in Cartaya.

He should do very well. Anybody else tried?
