there are a few big outlets up this way, 1 just off junction 28 M1, another off M18 junction 3 and 1 near Castleford off the M62 i think.

This is what we were thinking of doing, we would like to stop over somewhere for a night on the way out but not so bothered about stopping over on the way back. Will try to find some "good" travel...

oops me bad, totally skipped the part about evaporative and not refrigerated :D

yes you are correct, the cooled air temperature is relative to the outside air temp'/humidity.
