Re: Travel Suggestions - Bus, Train, Plane, Taxi: JB to Fraser's Hill to Melaca?

Probably, but I would rather not. That would be the last option.

Fraiser's Hill has nice hiking trails. I'm not exactly Walden - taking years to appreciate the...

Re: Moving to Malaysia April 2013

Remember it is likely to be fine to go to Thailand (or wherever) for a couple days and go right back into Malaysia for 90 more days. Eventually they might start to question you but most like the...

Re: Johor - tell me why

It is basically in JB (I can't imagine anyone thinking they left JB before they arrived at Danga Bay - maybe 10 min from the causeway.

One thing I like about JB is I find it much more walkable...

Re: Some Credit Card Suggestions

Oh, I mis-understood your question. Yes, I think you have it right.

Basically you charge a 310 MYR and they just put a charge for $102 on your account.

They don't say 300 MYR (market rate is...

Re: Some Credit Card Suggestions

My very limited experience is those that don't charge fees are actually likely to give a better rate of exchange. Basically it seems like a few banks try to win customers by treating customers well....
