I'd happily do it but even the immigration lawyer is saying they have no appointments...

I know SEF were pretty useless but AIMA is proving to be just as bad.

Take my advice . Move home. Neighbour disputes never ever get resolved. They get worse, more stressful...it's not worth it. Sell up and go elsewhere.

Does anyone genuinely believe that any of the 100% raised in taxes won't just be siphoned off somewhere else?

Its an absolutely terrible idea. A better idea would be uitlising the empty houses...

That last paragraph can't be true, I pay myself 9k a year and they've never once tried to take me to court. I agree with you on IHT but I understand that Spain has some weird IHT laws also...its not...

We're looking to buy in Spain next year. Luckily, my wife is a Spanish national so, I'll probably avoid this tax lunacy.

This will really hurt Spain in my opinion, how can they possibly expect...
