Re: Roger Moore RIP

That story was so great. Sad that he is gone, but I think he had a great life. He came across in interviews as a lovely man with a great sense of humour. Also with so many people, like Alan Rickman,...

Re: What gig are you going to?

So update from last night - booked tickets to see Steve Miller and Peter Frampton, Rod Stewart, Cyndi Lauper and Jethro Tull. A summer of concerts and moving house too, should be a good summer. I...

Re: It is happening again

Ahh ok - thanks for the warning. I once spent 3 hours in a hotel lobby in Newark sorting out a Swedish laptop for a couple stranded, like I was, by that Icelandic volcano lock-down. They clicked on...

But I don't get Showtime, so seeing this new series...

Re: Unspeakable things....

So to go back to the original story, a friend of mine back in UK bred Bernese Mountain Dogs, so big hairy dogs. One day she went out for a few hours and came back to find that one of the dogs had had...

Re: Holiday Destinations in the US

Re: Let it snow

I do agree with you that in a lot of cases it's because people are stupid that they get hurt or killed by deadly insects etc. But that jellyfish is 1 cm cube, it's tiny and nearly invisible, so if...

Re: Thinking of moving back with my Canadian husband and daughter

Other things you may want to think about - can you take a sabbatical from your job to cover the 9 months expecting and then having the baby in the UK? Or maybe, could you still work for the same...

Re: People wanting to crap in your yard

Re: BritBox

Thanks for the info - I will keep an eye on it. Hopefully Red Dwarf will be available long enough to start that again and watch them all. As I don't watch the soaps, I can cope with them disappearing...
