With a Youngest of 12, and two older ones, If the kids want to go, I really dont think you have a huge amount to worry about.

Cafcass always interview the children, and they do put into the report...

I wonder if the same rules will apply IF he wins (which I don't think will happen for a minute) and then he suddenly decides he wants to go off to NZ and leave his kids stuck...

Have a look for that paperwork - I'm pretty sure even if it is joint custody the 28 day rule still applies.

Dont forget there is a difference between joint custody and Parental...

j19 - if you have a residency order, there is nothing he can do about it - you only need permission to take them out of the country for more than 28 days - so dont worry about it. If you have that...

Looks like you are all systems go! Even though he's not got the letter countersigned by a solicitor, if it was to go to court if he is giving you the run around, his case will be so so weak...

You definatly need a solicitor if it is going to a final contested hearing - you will be far too close emotionally to represent yourself when it comes to cross examining.
