Hi all,

I believe our UK Sony LCD TV won't work in Australia - is that true and any ideas how to "fix" it? My OH was adamant it would be fine there as it's a new model, but the immigration book...

Yes my OH did the IELTS test in May, and both our agent and the DIAC have advised that we would still be processed as an August CSL applicant because we were still on CSL back then. They assured us...

It sounds as though my OH qualifies for a PEP visa, although I'm still not 100%sure. If the only requirements are that he earned more than S$7k in a permanent...

My OH is an accoutant - we applied in Aug 08, MODL, LR. Thing is we weren't aware all we had to do was sit the IELTS test to get onto CSL - bloody agent didn't tell us and we stupidly trusted...

I think we'll go for Anglo, try get them down on price more, and then get insurance through Letticon Percival - it seems as though the biggest problem with Anglo is their insurance......

Yip that's true - well as far as our agent says anyway!

OH is sitting the test 7th May, then results take 3 whole weeks! :thumbdown: So our visa will only be upgraded to CSL end May/early...

I hope you don't have to get SA police clearance again...We requested ours in Sept 08 and only received them in Jan 09! But I think we were just unlucky. Good luck!

Sorry I can't answer your question but my OH is an accountant and he's sitting the test in May to get onto CSL. I just wish we'd known we could months ago! We applied in Aug 08 as MODL...

From what I understand the CO will only contact you if they need further documents...so you may already have a CO who has no questions about your application.

But correct me if I'm wrong anyone!
