NiHao yes I do feel at home here and I am not secretly pining to go back to the US. It's nice to have that feeling that this time it's not a visit and that I don't have to get back on that plane...

Oh I never knew that children of USCs born in the UK could be USCs also! That's interesting, no kids for me on the horizon though, :D

Yeah I never liked " do what now." or even worse the "huhhhh?" as a response not sorry or pardon just Huuuggggghhhhh?

Well, that was my main issue with the "How are you today" statements. My annoyance is not with the clerks or cashiers themselves, it's with the companies making them say the same script over and over...

Being asked "how are you?" as a statement not a genuine question anyone wants to hear the answer to.
