Watch out for February, bit of a sneaky month who got January drunk over Christmas...poor old January's still recovering.

We are having spring weather, even for here it's unusual. highs in the 60's flowers blooming no coats needed, not a drop of rain all December and none in sight. I see a miserable drought of a summer up ahead for us.

On Wednesday I too noticed the daffodils coming up, plus on a bush with purple flowers (no idea of the name ) were a couple of bees!!!!!
Maybe we have bypassed winter and the snow and the ice and fog and will head straight into spring, yippee!!

Hmm, yes, Saturday was definitely on the chilly side - quite pleasant today but a few inches of snow on the ground - I was staggered by the number of people out running!!!! Walking (like me), yes I can see the attraction ... but running????

My husband's flight from Heathrow has been cancelled - however they didn't tell him until he'd checked in his bag and he had to stand on a queue for over 5 hours to re-book. He says the scenes were straight out of the Little Britain Come Fly With Me show.

Right now my spouse is at Heathrow (Terminal 1) to fly with Swissair to Zurich. They had cancelled some flights to Switzerland today, but they've actually managed to book him onto an earlier flight (I guess some passengers cancelled their travel plans or couldn't get to LHR today).....although all their flights are delayed in any case! He is now wandering around the terminal to buy Maltesers etc.

That was lucky that yours got on an earlier flight.
Apparently they gave mine a voucher for lunch but when he presented it they had 'stopped serving lunch'. He's had to buy a 'Team GB' Tshirt as he doesn't have his clothes
