you can (or at least you could when I did it in 2002/03) also claim your tax and superannuation back when you leave the country. I ended up getting a cheque back for about $1200 as I recall.

well like I said, I've not lived there so I'll bow to your assessment. I've got mates from the Garforth area and also that live in Brighouse, and they say north and east leeds are the worst areas....

I don't live in Leeds, bu spend a lot of my time there as I have a lot of friends there and it's usually my shopping destination of choice. The city centre is great - they're spending a lot of money...

I lived and worked in Sydney for 9 months in 2002-03 and found the red travelpass brilliant - it will cover all you need (buses/metro/ferries) in the city and inner suburbs really, and only costs $35...
