As someone has already said, You will have to take the Canadian class 1A or 1Z depending what province you are going to, your UK Class 1 is not recognise in Canada.

I Send my PR renewal back in November 2017 and still waiting., when I sent the paperwork in it was 90 day processing. My PR card expired in March 2018.

I use Travelex online, its easy and I get a good rate. They take is straight from my UK account and transfer it to my Canadian account. There is as a small charge for using this service.

BC do not do PNP for truck drivers, You will have to look at Saskatchewan or Alberta if you want PNP and LMO through the truck driver program.

Most Lmo's are issued under the term long haul truck driver, it is possible but very very hard to get a short haul job on an LMO, Pcv is very hard to get a LMO for I only know of one coach company...
