That is how you should do it...... at least that's how I do it with my Canadian and UK Passports. Most UK Passports just let you scan a UK Passport and you walk through (saves a lot of hassle) ...

Yes I used my Gov log on I created before coming over here and before I came to Canada it was 100% old age pension but Need to do it again but I’ve been told my 30 years NI will now only provide 6/7...

I see now. I wasn't aware of the automatic generation of an I94 on entry to US, I thought the creation of the ESTA in the first place was the trigger..... useful to know thank you.;)

I now know my full timeline. Applied 10 June 2014, Citizenship Test 22 October 2014, Ceremony Invite 25th November 2014 at Halifax so approx five and a half months in total

Our friends took the test in June were offered a ceremony in July which they couldn't attend and were then offered a ceremony in August which they did

No the test is stand alone in Halifax but through friends who have recently gone through the process.....we expect that the request to attend ceremony will follow a few weeks later

Seems to have speeded up out here in NS ... We applied second week in June this year and will be completing the test next week in Halifax. It should mean a 6 month processing total from application...
