Greggs or Tim Hortons?
From a column in today's guardian:
Greggs for me.
It must be great being Canadian. Instead of Greggs, they’ve got Tim Hortons.

Re: Greggs or Tim Hortons?
There are 21 Tim,s in the UK, majority in Scotland. For a coffee and Do-nut i would choose Tim,s every time but for something more substantial to eat i would choose Gregg,s, their steak bake is excellent.

Exactly - I don't see that Greggs and Tim Hortons are in competition with each other, even aside from the fact that there is almost no geographic overlap.

Greggs for the sausage rolls although I really want to try this vegan one they are all talking about. Tim Hortons for the apple fritters and roll up the rim!

2010 = Tim Hortons
2019 = Greggs (assuming the quality hasn't nosedived like Timmies since I left)

That vegan one is being talked about a lot, but to me it seems like what's the point. With a real sausage roll at least you are getting some meat with the unhealthy pastry, but with a vegan one it's just some ground up mush and unhealthy pastry. What kind of food is that ?!

Greggs all day and twice on a Sunday!
Tim Horton's does nothing well.

Tim's is a place of last resort for me. Nothing in that place is what I would call good, they can't even make a donut taste good.
