BritInParis, no. The letter I received indicated for me to wait. It stated to do them early could only cut my time short to get to Australia if my visa was granted. Funnily enough, I got the email...

I flew with Cathay Pacific a few years ago and I have no complaints. Good clean plane and helpful friendly staff. I wouldn't hesitate in flying with them again.

Details on page 39 and 40 within the Partner Migration Booklet, as can be found on the www.immi.gov.au site, is why 'others' suggested, that they would be 'surprised' if a marriage certificate alone...

Yes, the one year restriction is for de facto and interdependent visa, not the spouse visa.:)

I would be very surprised if a marriage certificate just on it's own would suffice. You have to provide additional evidence of a shared life together, i.e financial commitments. social aspects...

We used a tenancy agreement form we bought from WH Smiths.
Think it cost about £8.00 (a few years ago!!):)
