As one who has lived in Victoria for 12 years I can agree that it is one of the safest places to be. That said......we do not all work for the government at all...I (and many others I know)work for...

For us it measured up with its outstanding natural beauty. The Summers are usually great and long (well longer than UK) which is a bonus.
Lack of sense of humour was (and is still) a great...

Great Post! Lots there that I totally agree with. Im 53 now and because of my upbringing I am careful not to "overload" myself with too much debt of course I have debt but not unmanageable unlike...
