Ha! I understand what you mean. He just meant in general people in that region get more vacation allowance. My last job in the UK I got 29 days paid.

You got it. I have seen more of San Francisco when I was a tourist. I now have less time(lack of vacation) to see anywhere.
Europe is great for those little breaks and it is good for the tourism...
