I live in Canada, so I need to ring NZ and ask if they would consider faxing or emailing the check to the Canadian office that needs it, rather than mailing it.

sorry my use of the word visa is wrong, but I simply mean is there a document that we need apply for for our children.

I cant see that there is, other than the study permit, which they dont need...

Well, for some ACTUAL advice regarding the issue - we have lived in Tantallon for the last 3 years and both work within Halifax and the area is great.
