I got my WA SS approval letter today in the post. It was dated 15th July so it took a week for the letter to arrive to my house even though I am in Perth now.

I applied on the 27th March for WA...

I think they are slowly processing the applications. I applied on the 27th March so I dont expect to hear anything until the end of July...and that would be wishful thinking....

I spoke to a lovely lady on the phone yesterday and she mentioned that they are processing application from early to mid March at the moment. So not long to go now.....

I was told the wait is more like 4 to 6 months by the staff in Perth. So I wouldn't keep my hopes up....I did apply for the WA sponsorship eventhough I have 135 points and am on the CSL list. Lets...

Yes, my skills are on the CSL list so I should have a case officer soon. I still need to get my UK Police checks. Should I get them now? Also I do have police checks from UK in 2005 but I dont think...

Well I thought that one also doesn't need IELTS if they can prove that they have had tertiary education in an English speaking Institution.

From what I know, as a 457 visa holder, there is minimum taxable salary you must have. I think the figure is approximately $42000. I could be wrong but do check with someone or read on the Australian...
