Indeed. Our quote went from £2140 to £2555 for 552qf. But if you can get the shipping company to throw in insurance and inspection fees it makes it less painfull.

I agree with bc world on what rental you cold afford on £45k. We are not there yet but we were looking at cheaper rentals with a joint income of quite a bit more with no kids. I would not like to...

Is there a reason why you need your agent to be in Glasgow? Our agent was in Melbourne and everything was done online or by phone. No hassles whatsoever.:)

:eek:That is strange. Our quote is for groupage but i wouldnt expect it to be £1000 more than double for a sole usage container. We just got our quote in writing from crown i think i'll sign it now...

Jeez thats scary. Were they not insured? I think its better to be safe than sorry. I think Crown charge 3.1% but quite sure we can get it cheaper else where. Our stuff aint worth much though so it...

We are heading to Melbourne and it as long as we can afford to ski occasionally then we will be happy. We live about 90 mins from Nevis range and Glencoe now and go as often as we can providing...
