Shipping charges at this end
Hi, We have recently arrived in regional Victoria. We are shipping our bits with Crown and have paid i think for delivery to our address within 50km from Melbourne.
My partner Steven found a council job 190km from Melbourne and we have moved here which is great, but how can the shipping company charge £290 for the extra distance? I do understand that there would be more to pay but to me £290 seems a bit excessive for an extra 3 hour round trip. Or am i being a bit naive? I have emailed crown an they are being awkward. Anyone think this is normal??
