Re: Coping with cats

We brought two cats with us, both had been used to being outside all day and inside at night. One was much more adventurous than the other outside though. When we got here we let them outside, but...

Re: canmore - alberta whats it like?

Well we think Canmore is wonderful, but there are certainly very few local jobs that would support the cost of living here. Certainly there are plenty of houses that are only holiday/investment...

Re: Question for those that rented the house out

We told our mortgage company, they asked for no change in type of mortgage, no increase in interest and were happy to reduce the amount of insurance (also through them) to a level that reflected the...

Re: Intra Company Transfer Advice

Mine actually took about 7 weeks, but it was at a time (mid 2007) when there seemed to be significant delays for all processing. It was all very simple though and our PR application was automatically...

Re: How long should I stay in calgary

We contacted the schools (most have email addresses on their websites) before we came out and booked some visits. Here in the Bow Valley (Canmore, Banff, Exshaw) there are no private schools so we...

Re: Drivers License exchange in Alberta

I don't know the specific rules, but certainly there was no problem in my wife exchanging her license when she had a spousal work permit linked to my TWP. Is there any way your wife could get a...
