Thanks Christmasoompa, I forgot that their immigration info is not correct/up to date. As far as I know the paramedic aspect is still up to date as the process in BC does not change quickly at all....

Heres a website that might help. Its run by a mix of Aus and UK paramedics who have come over. Process is not easy but well worth it. You might even recognize a few names over here in BC as they are...

PCPs are hired on call, part time, and full time. It all depends on what province you are looking at.
You are talking about the on call $2/hr so I am assuming you are looking at BC....

A few friends have had kids moving here just after GCSEs and they all went into grade 11 and them graduated after 12.

If your goal is to end up in AB have a look at the Alberta College of Paramedics site for the AIT transfer tool. Moving tickets from BC to AB is not easy with several areas that require educational...

Its not easy but totally doable. Biggest issue is the work visa which causes the biggest hurdles.

Thanks. Couldn't find that info. Still some years away so still not sure if doing this is the best option over keeping it in Canada and doing RRSPs as the UK govt keep changing the goal posts.
