HSBC debit card problems.

HSBC debit card problems.
Evening.
I know many people on here bank with HSBC because of the international aspect.
Just to warn people that from around 1700 PST, HSBC has had an issue where the debit card transaction is declined at point of sale but the monies are withdrawn from your account.
Talking with the help line, it’s a “major glitch” and they are “working on a resolution”. No timeframe provided. They will be calling me back as soon as they know what they are doing.
So if you used your card and it was declined, best to check your account to make sure the money is still there.
Hopefully no one else has gotten stung but the help line hinted that many people have been effected.
