If she cannot prove her ability to support him and they don't have the assets, they won't...

I currently have two dogs, a black Lab and a Sheltie. I took in the Sheltie from somebody who decided they didn't want her. She's such a sweet, loyal and smart...

but does the husband have health issues?

If OP does not have means to support H, or the assets, or a co-sponsor....

OR if H has health issues, they may not...

Although I don't personally know of any other Brits, my husband is frequently asked if he works for BP (which he doesn't). I'm sure there are others around but it's not...

I'm so very sorry about your grandpa. I lost both my grandpa (who raised me) and my dad when we lived in England... then my FIL when we moved here... always the wrong side of the pond for us.
