Thanks for the lead. The reason for 457 over anything else is speed of transferring to it from another now-defunkt visa!

Can anyone recommend a good migration agent based in Perth? Specifically for organising both sides of an Employer Sponsored (457) visa?

Surface mail takes longer than to ship all your worldly goods around the world for some reason. Last time I used it I saved about $4 and it took 2 and a half months :)

EXIF Metadata. Most (all?) digital cameras save data such as the camera model, date/time of shot, camera settings etc in the image file they produce and this can be extracted...

Well I can relate to how you're feeling - I've met a couple of people but mainly through my girlfriend as she's originally from Perth, but if it wasn't for her mates (and mates of mates) I'd be lost....
