The heat! Dont know where youre going but by 6.30 i'm sweating like a pig and its very very uncomfortable for the next 8 hours.

Oh and all this for the grand total of almost £100 a day!!

Yes that is our aim (if i can stick it that long!) I think we have chosen the wrong place in Brisbane/QLD and may think of trying Perth in the new year, to break the 2yrs up. It seems like a lifetime...

yes mate, me pal on the tiles is picking up $35 an hour working for someone but more like $55 on his own. Painting i'm not so sure

Been here 9 months now working on the trowel, 1st gang I started with were ok, but any excuse for an early day and you were sent home. And of course getting paid by the hour you notice it at the end...

Loads here mate, got a friend just moved up from Sydney; ceramic tiler and hes doing really well, left his business cards at the local tile stores and is picking up plenty of work.
