We live in Mount Martha and my husband has commuted to Preston for over 4 years now... it takes him an hour going (for 6am start) and an hour and quarter back after 2.30pm finish. It is a long drive...

We lodged on the 21st Aug, meds and xrays requested 25th Aug. They were all done by 1st Sept - not sure when they were received because our agent didn't tell us but the visas were granted today on...

We aren't needing a 40ft container, but for any peeps from Lancashire who do... we had a quote from a local company called Hambletons from Ramsbottom. They came in around £3200 for sole use of a 40...

My 3 year old has just started to wear glasses - and the total cost to us in the UK..... £10!! Mmm, I can see her costing us a small fortune when we move to Oz, esp cos we're not on a perm visa.

Out of interest, I just wondered if anyone could advise if the Eastlink has reduced commute times into the city (more specifically Preston) from areas such as Frankston South, Langwarrin etc?

I don't think it has, I'm sure it was only last week that Cameron was pressing Brown to state a date for implementing this in PMQs.
