There are quite a few on the road leading to Kings Cross from the city (cant remember the name). There is one near Kings Cross, they only do Toyota corolla. I got it for $22/day for a week.

The best approach what I did is to find a suitable job, apply and back it up by calling the agency. They are generally friendly.
