Most nurses here are dual trained so there may be a physical aspect to the scenario that needs addressing.

Scenarios I have used recently are:
Patient out in the sun for over four hours on a 40oC...

As long as your circumstances are uncomplicated (no major health or children by ex's and the ex is against things etc) and your job is on the MODL demand list, i would encourage you to do it...
