As far as I know, you can have your e-savings & access it over the net here just to move money into your flex account & then you can use your flex account card here. It's treated the same as a visa...

We're just over the hill from you at Ferny Grove, so not too far. There are quite a few ex-pats around the area, I'm sure you'll find loads of ex-pat mums at school:)

I opended a joint flex account with my mum before we moved. Now its great for her to put ££ in for the kids & I just withdraw it here:D
If you use it in the shops here, you have a choice of accounts...

Had my first problem using mine today, it was on a new machine that reads the chip part of the card & was declined for reason 12 - whatever that is ? lady in the shop says they have only had the chip...

Seems to work the same here as in the UK, premiums/discounts are based on previous claims experience, so they will ask you if you have made any previous claims, same as they would do if you swopped...

I was just glad that she enjoyed it, it would have been awful if shed hated the place.
She'll be much happier now she can picture where we are & she managed to meet most of our friends, so she knows...
