You should be ok to import the bike then - on a spouse visa (you have PR with a spouse visa don't you?)

I had one like that!! Hubby finally got his bike on the road about 3 or 4 weeks ago... about 12 months after we arrived - and about 9 months after the bike arrived! Where abouts are...

I would say more like 1½ - 2 hours to Brisbane - depending on where you're heading in Brisbane and at what time of day! I worked with a guy who lived in Noosa - and worked in the city.. took him 2...
