hi,

Are there any meets anytime soon in Gold Coast area??? Dont mind if its for a coffee or lunch or an evening. Have been here 6 months now and new a few more mates. :)

Cool, I am working at Gold Coast Hosp in Southport and love it :):):)
Staff are great no stress, very diff from uk.

Robina good too as new hosp, depends where you want to live on gold coast.

Hi know exactly how you feel ;) We had our house on market back in July 07 for 329995, now we are on offers over 280k but ea is saying we should now drop to offers over 250k :eek: we said no...

HI,

I work the 8 hr shifts and then 10 hrs for a night shift so earlies, lates and nights. just work 32 hrs a wk so 4 days which suits me just fine :thumbup:

Been on the gold coast 8 weeks now and working at the Gold Coast Hosp and loving it!!!!! Be warned it v diff from UK, I prob do half as much work and loads more staff its great!!!!

cant see it here on the gold coast prices have gone mad, talk here is that prices will go up over 40% in next 3-5 years!!!!! best thing to do is sell cheap and leave in bank acc here as banks are...

I got my job through QH and they have been great. Interviewed last June came out here March and only been in job 2 weeks and love it:thumbup:. Here on permanent visa, wouldnt come any other way....

Oh and all going well here Gold Coast is def the place to be. Even the Australians are migrating here!!!!! Melbourne is far too cold and weather can be all 4 seasons in one day:eek:
