I think you may be stuck, some BBC services (may or may not be this one) are limited to IP addresses allocated to the UK.. this is because of the TV license fee etc. And as it is a streaming service,...

Yeah they do, ever driven round a multistorey car park at about 2mph and heard squealing and squeaking? Its because of chassis geometry, rubber on the concrete and the difference (increase) in grip...

Yes but this will resample the image to 72dpi, hence losing quality if the original was 300dpi and scaled on the website, for example.
